Read this before anything else: the Arc S runs ArcPods only. You cannot pack loose dry herb into it. Zeus built it that way to bring the price down, and it is the cheapest route into the Arc platform because of it. If you were planning to grind and pack the way you would with any other vaporizer, this is the wrong device and the GTS Hub is the one that does both.
If pods suit you, the trade is a good one. The kit arrives with the Arc S, the Zeus Hub case, the Xtruder and a stock of ArcPods, which is the whole system rather than a device and a promise. You fill pods in advance with the Xtruder, which mills herb and feeds it straight in until the pod holds about 0.3 g, then carry a case of them and drop one in when you want a session. No grinding at the time, no packing, no mess in a bag.
There is a real argument that pods are the better daily workflow even on devices that do not require them. Every pod holds the same amount, so sessions are consistent. Cleaning is easier because the herb never touches the chamber directly. And prepping a week takes a few minutes at a table rather than five fiddly ones each time.

Can I put loose dry herb in the Arc S?
Treat it as no, and this is the one thing to be certain about before buying. Zeus describe the Arc S purely as a pod device and never mention loose loading, and reviewers who have handled both it and the GTS say directly that loose herb cannot be packed into this variant. It is not something an accessory works around. If you want the choice of both, the Arc GTS Hub Kit takes loose herb as well as pods and sits directly above this model.
Why would I choose a pods-only device?
Price and consistency. Dropping loose-herb capability is how Zeus brought the cost down, so this is the cheapest way onto the Arc platform. And pods have real advantages: each one holds the same amount so sessions are repeatable, the herb never touches the chamber so cleaning is easier, and you prep a week in one sitting instead of packing each time.
What comes in the Hub kit?
The Arc S itself, the Zeus Hub case, the Xtruder for filling pods, a stock of ArcPods, spare pod lids and a USB charging cable. That is the complete system, which matters more here than on other devices, because a pods-only vaporizer with no pods and no way to fill them would not be usable. Refills are stocked here.
How does the Xtruder fill the pods?
You load herb in the top and twist. Internal blades mill it to a middling consistency and feed it straight down into an ArcPod sitting underneath, and the pod ejects itself once it holds about 0.3 g. It removes the transfer step entirely. It will also grind straight into other dry herb chambers, so it is not wasted if you own another vaporizer.
How is the Arc S different from the Arc GTS apart from the pods?
The GTS has GoldSink, meaning a gold-plated chamber, vapour path and heatsink, and it ships with a borosilicate glass spacer. The Arc S has neither. Both share the 3500 mAh battery, the three presets, the roughly 80 second heat-up, micro USB charging and the same Hub and Xtruder. So the gap is the gold path and loose-herb support, for about a hundred dollars.
Do you deliver the Arc S Hub kit around Vancouver?
We do. Orders placed between 8 AM and 10 PM go out same-day across Greater Vancouver and usually land within 45 to 60 minutes. After 10 PM they ship the following day.
