The Falcon is built around swappable heating heads rather than a single fixed coil, and that is what makes it unusual at this price. Three heads cover three jobs: an XTAL tip that works as a nectar collector, so you touch it directly to concentrate; a pancake coil for dry herb; and a quartz tri coil for wax in the conventional way.
Each of those can also be run with the glass attachment fitted, which pulls the vapour through water first. Three heads times two configurations is where the six in the name comes from.
Read the box list carefully though, because the name oversells it. The kit ships with the XTAL tip and the pancake coil. The quartz tri coil and the glass attachment are sold separately, so two of the six modes need a part you do not get. We stock both, in five packs and singly, so it is an easy gap to close.
Three voltages sit behind the button at 3.2, 3.7 and 4.2 volts. On a device handling dry herb, a nectar tip and wax, a low setting genuinely matters: what suits a quartz tri coil will scorch herb on a pancake coil.
The battery is 1000 mAh and charges over USB-C, ahead of the older Yocan pens still on Micro-USB.

Frequently asked questions
Do I get all six modes out of the box?
No. The six modes are three heads each usable alone or through the glass attachment, and the kit includes only the XTAL tip and the pancake coil. Without the glass that leaves two of the six working out of the box. The quartz tri coil and the glass attachment are both separate purchases and we stock both, so you can get to all six, just not for the kit price alone.
What is the XTAL tip for?
It works as a nectar collector. Instead of loading concentrate into a chamber, you heat the tip and touch it directly to the concentrate, drawing as you go. It suits people who would rather dab from a dish than load a coil, and it wastes less, since you only ever heat what you actually touch. It is a wear item and we stock replacements.
Is it any good for dry herb?
It is capable rather than specialised. The pancake coil heats ground herb by conduction in a small chamber, which is fine for a few draws but is not the same as a dedicated convection vaporizer like the Yocan Hit. Use the lowest voltage setting for herb: the 4.2 volt setting is meant for the quartz tri coil and will scorch herb quickly.
Which replacement parts should I keep?
Whichever heads you actually use. We stock the quartz tri coil and the pancake coil in five packs and the XTAL tip in five packs. All three are consumables: replace one when the draw tastes burnt, when output drops on a full battery, or when the quartz or ceramic is visibly darkened and will not clean up.
What does the glass attachment change, and is it included?
It is not included, so treat it as an upgrade rather than a feature you already own. What it does is put water between the heating head and your mouth, cooling the vapour and taking some of the harshness out. On the higher voltage settings, and particularly with a quartz tri coil, that is a real difference. Without it the Falcon is more portable but the draw runs warmer.
Do you deliver the Yocan Falcon the same day in Vancouver?
Yes. Order between 8 AM and 10 PM and it goes out same-day across Greater Vancouver, most often arriving 45 to 60 minutes later. Orders after 10 PM are dispatched the next day. We also send it Canada-wide in plain packaging, and it is stocked for collection at our Commercial Drive shop.
