Mighty+ Vaporizer

The Mighty+ is the current version, and the upgrades are about living with it rather than how it vapes. It reaches 356°F in about 60 seconds instead of 90. The filling chamber is ceramic coated, so it stains less and actually wipes clean. There are two superboost levels instead of one, small feet so it stands up on a table, and a more scratch resistant finish. It charges over USB-C. Chamber size, battery life and vapour quality are unchanged at 0.25 to 0.3 g and 60 to 90 minutes.

The Venty is the newer and faster device. It heats in about 20 seconds against the Mighty+ at 60, and it is the first Storz & Bickel portable with adjustable airflow, up to 20 litres per minute. It also fast charges over USB-C Power Delivery. The Mighty+ costs less, has the same 104 to 410°F range, and is a known quantity that has been refined over years. If heat-up speed and airflow control matter to you, go Venty. If you want Storz & Bickel vapour for less money, the Mighty+ still delivers it.

Fill the chamber with 0.25 to 0.3 g of ground herb, press the power button, and set your temperature with the plus and minus keys anywhere from 104 to 410°F. It is ready in about 60 seconds when the display stops flashing. Draw slowly rather than hard, since it is a hybrid convection and conduction device and the vapour builds through the pull. The superboost button bumps the heat when a load starts to fade.

It charges over USB-C and runs 60 to 90 minutes per charge. One thing worth knowing before you buy: standard USB-C charging on the Mighty+ is slower than the original Mighty's wall adapter. Storz & Bickel sell a Supercharger separately that takes it to about 80 percent in 40 minutes. If you plan to use it away from a plug all day, that accessory is worth budgeting for.

The ceramic coated chamber is the easy part, a brush and a cotton swab while it is slightly warm handles most of it. For the cooling unit, disassemble it as the manual shows, soak the parts in isopropyl alcohol, then rinse and dry them completely before reassembly. Replace the screens and base seal rings when they look tired, both are sold as genuine spares.
