GoldSink is the reason this model exists. Zeus gold-plate the heating chamber, the vapour path and the heatsink, and the argument for it is straightforward physics: gold conducts heat well, so heat spreads through the chamber more evenly and transfers into your material more consistently than it does across bare steel. What you notice is a draw that tastes cleaner and holds up better across a full chamber.
Beyond the plating this is the same device as the standard Arc, which is worth saying plainly rather than implying a bigger gap. Same 3500 mAh battery at roughly 90 minutes of use. Same three presets at 205, 215 and 225°C, the same firmware updates that let you swap those profiles, and the same haptic buzz when it is ready. The chamber still takes up to 0.3 g and still accepts ArcPods as well as loose herb.
The GT sits at the point in the range where you are paying for materials rather than features. If you vape often enough to care about how the flavour holds up, that is a real argument. If you want the cheapest way into the Arc platform and its accessories, the standard Arc gets you there with the same presets and the same pods.

What does GoldSink actually do?
Zeus gold-plate the heating chamber, the vapour path and the heatsink. Gold is a good conductor, so heat spreads more evenly through the chamber and transfers more consistently into your material than it does off bare steel. In use that shows up as a cleaner tasting draw that holds up better through a full chamber rather than fading in the second half.
Is the Arc GT worth it over the standard Arc?
It depends whether you care about materials. The GT is the same platform: same 3500 mAh battery, same three presets, same firmware options, same 0.3 g chamber, same ArcPod support. The only difference is the gold-plated chamber, path and heatsink. If you vape often and notice flavour, that is a reasonable spend. If not, the plain Arc does the same job.
Does the Arc GT take ArcPods?
Yes, and loose dry herb as well, so you are not committing to one method. ArcPods are aluminium capsules holding about 0.3 g that you prefill, which turns a session into dropping one in. We stock the pods, spare lids and a carry case, plus the Xtruder that grinds and fills them automatically. The Arc S is the only device in the line that is pods-only.
How do I change the temperature presets?
The three positions default to 205, 215 and 225°C and you cycle between them on the device. Zeus also publish firmware that loads different temperature profiles, so if you want a lower or higher set you update the device rather than living with the defaults. It is one of the few vaporizers at this age still getting that kind of attention.
Which Arc GT parts should I keep spare?
Screens first, since a clogged screen is the usual reason airflow drops off, which is what the GT flowsink screen pack covers. The GT care package bundles the cleaning consumables. The GT multi-tool is the packing and clearing tool, and worth replacing if yours goes missing. If you want water filtration, the Iceborn and waterpipe adapter connects the Arc to a bong.
