The XS Go is the stripped-back one in Apollo's AirVape line, and the trade-off is deliberate. Instead of a screen and per-degree control you cycle five presets with the button: 355°F, 375°F, 390°F, 405°F and 420°F. For most people that covers the useful range with nothing to learn.
The oven is oval ceramic and heats mostly by conduction with some convection through it. It reaches temperature in around 20 seconds, which is quick enough that you are not standing there waiting.
The 1200mAh battery refills in about 45 minutes, fast for this class, and it will run while plugged in if you drain it mid-session. Charging is micro USB rather than USB-C, which is the one dated thing about it.
The mouthpiece has a cooling channel built in, so the draw does not arrive hot on the top two settings.

Frequently asked questions
What are the five temperature settings?
355°F, 375°F, 390°F, 405°F and 420°F, cycled with the button rather than set on a screen. The bottom two keep more of the flavour and give thinner vapour, the top two give you the fuller draw. There is no per-degree control on this model, which is the main thing separating it from the AirVape X.
Can it handle concentrate as well as dry herb?
Yes, but only with the wax pad insert, which is a separate accessory rather than something in the box. Drop the pad into the ceramic oven, load it, and run the device as normal. Without the insert it is dry herb only, and putting concentrate straight into the chamber will make a mess that is hard to clean out.
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
The 1200mAh battery charges in about 45 minutes, which is quick for a portable of this size, and it supports pass-through, so you can keep using it plugged in if it runs flat mid-session. It uses micro USB rather than USB-C, so keep the cable with it if you have moved everything else over.
How do you clean it?
Brush the chamber out while it is still warm after each few sessions, and soak the screens in isopropyl alcohol when the draw starts tightening. Replacement screens come in the box and are stocked separately, because a clogged screen is the usual cause of a restricted pull rather than anything being wrong with the device.
How is it different from the AirVape X?
The X is the fuller device: a 1.3 inch screen with per-degree temperature control from 200°F to 428°F, a 1300mAh battery, and a concentrate pad included rather than sold separately. The XS Go trades all that for a lower price and a simpler button-cycled set of five presets. The heat-up time is the same 20 seconds on both.
Can I get the AirVape XS Go delivered in Vancouver?
Yes, same day across Greater Vancouver on orders placed between 8 AM and 10 PM, often inside 45 to 60 minutes. Later orders go out the following day, and we ship Canada-wide in plain packaging.
