Read this first, because the name this arrived with was wrong. Puffco have never made a "Proxy V2". This is the original Puffco Proxy in Classic Black, and its product code confirms it: distributors list UPC 810028443105 as the Proxy Kit in Classic Black, and they list the current generation separately. If you were told this is a newer Proxy, it is not. It is the same device as the Bloom, Desert, Storm and Flourish finishes, in black.
What the Proxy actually is: a modular dab device where the electronics live in a removable base, and that base drops into interchangeable glass. Buy a different pipe and you have changed the shape of the thing without buying another vaporizer. That is unusual, and it is why the accessory range for it is so large.
Heating is a 3D ceramic chamber with side-wall heating, so the concentrate warms from around the edges rather than off a dish underneath. Four presets run roughly 505, 520, 545 and 565°F, chosen on the device with no app involved. Heat-up takes about 30 seconds, and a 1350 mAh battery covers around 15 sessions before it needs USB-C charging, which takes about 90 minutes.
If you want the newer hardware rather than a different colour of this one, that is the New Puffco Proxy, which we stock separately.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a newer Proxy than the standard one?
No, and the name it arrived with was misleading. Puffco have never released a "Proxy V2". This is the original Proxy Kit in Classic Black: distributors list UPC 810028443105 as exactly that, and they list the current generation as a separate product. It is the same device as our Bloom, Desert, Storm and Flourish Proxy, in a black finish.
What is the difference between this and the New Puffco Proxy?
The New Proxy is genuinely the later hardware and we stock it separately. This one is the original platform. If you are choosing between them, compare those two pages rather than going by colour, because the finish is the only thing that separates this listing from the other original Proxy colourways.
What does modular actually mean here?
The electronics sit in a removable base, and that base drops into whatever glass you like. So a bubbler, a recycler, a silicone pipe or a travel-friendly shape are all the same device wearing different bodies. It is the reason the Proxy accessory range is unusually deep, and the reason people keep a Proxy for years and change the glass instead.
Can I take this on a plane?
In the cabin only, per Transport Canada rules on lithium battery devices. The modular design helps here, since the electronics come out of the glass pipe and the two travel better apart than assembled. A Proxy travel bag exists for exactly this and we stock it. Give the chamber a wipe before you pack it, and treat the contents as an entirely separate legal question from the hardware.
Do the other Proxy accessories fit this one?
Yes. Because the finish is the only difference, every original Proxy part fits: the 3D chamber, the ball cap, the Bub and the rest of the glass, plus the travel bag and pack. The one to be careful with is the New Proxy 3D chamber, which belongs to the later generation and is a different part despite the similar name.
Can I get the black Proxy delivered today in Vancouver?
Yes. Orders placed between 8 AM and 10 PM go out same-day across Greater Vancouver and usually arrive within 45 to 60 minutes, and anything later ships the following day. We also send it Canada-wide in discreet packaging. Classic Black is a single-finish listing, so stock on it moves independently of the other colours.
