A 510 battery is the part of a cartridge setup people replace the least and complain about the most. The Zeus Ion fixes the two usual annoyances. It gives you real voltage control rather than one fixed output, and it uses magnetic adapters, so the cartridge drops into the battery instead of being threaded on and off every time you swap.
Four voltage settings: 2.6V, 3.0V, 3.4V and 3.8V, cycled with the single side button and shown by the colour of the LED. Lower voltage is the setting for thinner distillate and for flavour, higher voltage for thicker oil that needs more heat to move. Getting that wrong is the usual cause of a cartridge that either tastes burnt or barely draws, so having the four is more useful than it first sounds.
Double press and it runs a 15 second preheat starting at 1.8V. That is for thick oil in a cold room, where a cartridge will not draw until the oil loosens. It warms the cart without cooking it.
Two magnetic adapters are in the box and they cover 0.5 mL through 1.2 mL cartridges up to 11.5 mm across, which is most of what is on the market. The battery holds 650 mAh and charges over USB-C in about an hour. The body is flat rather than round, so it sits in a pocket without rolling off a table.

Frequently asked questions
What is a 510 thread battery, and will my cartridge fit?
510 is the thread size nearly every oil cartridge uses, so a 510 battery works with almost anything on the market. The Zeus Ion takes it a step further with magnetic adapters: you screw an adapter onto the cartridge once, and after that it drops into the battery. The two adapters in the box cover carts from 0.5 mL to 1.2 mL and up to 11.5 mm across, which is most of them.
What do the four voltage settings actually do?
Voltage controls how hard the battery drives the cartridge coil. 2.6V is the gentlest, best for thin distillate and for keeping the flavour intact. 3.8V is the hottest and suits thick oil that will not move at a low setting. Running thin oil at high voltage is what burns a cartridge and gives that harsh taste, so starting low and working up is the sensible approach with a new cart.
What is the preheat mode for?
Double press the button and it runs 15 seconds at 1.8V. That is deliberately below the vaping settings. Its job is to warm thick or cold oil enough to move down to the coil, which is the fix for a cartridge that draws like it is blocked on a cold morning. It is not for vaping from, just for loosening the oil before you take a proper draw.
My cartridge is not drawing on the Zeus Ion. What now?
Try the preheat before anything else. A cold or thick cartridge is the usual reason nothing moves, and preheat exists precisely for that. If it still will not draw, unscrew the cart, wipe the magnetic adapter and the battery contact with a dry swab, and refit without over-tightening, since forcing it can press the centre pin flat. A cart that tastes burnt rather than blocked is spent and no adjustment recovers it.
Why does it use magnetic adapters instead of just threading the cart in?
Threading a cartridge on and off wears the connection and it is fiddly. With the magnetic system you thread the adapter onto the cart once and leave it there, then the cart clicks into the battery and pulls straight out. It also means the cart sits down inside the body rather than sticking out on top, so it does not snap off in a pocket. Spare adapters are sold separately.
How quickly can a Zeus Ion reach me in Vancouver?
Yes. Order between 8 AM and 10 PM and it goes out same-day across Greater Vancouver, typically within 45 to 60 minutes. Orders placed after 10 PM go out the following day, and we ship Canada-wide if you are outside the local zone.
