A PAX oven packed full is more than one person usually wants in a sitting, and half-filling it just gives you a loose pack that scorches. This lid is deeper, so it takes up the empty space and holds a 0.25g load properly against the oven floor. Fits the PAX 2, PAX Plus and PAX 3, plus a second generation Mini. It does not fit the original PAX or the first generation PAX Mini.
