Most wax pens put one atomizer on top of a battery. The Pandon puts two side by side, each holding a quartz dual coil, so four quartz rods heat your concentrate at once. The practical result is a much larger draw than a single-coil pen can produce, and a chamber that clears faster because there is more hot surface working on it.
That comes at a cost worth knowing about. Four rods draw considerably more from the battery and get through concentrate faster than two. The 1300 mAh cell is sized to cope, but this is not a pen built for making a small amount last.
Three voltages are set by the LED colour rather than a screen: green is 3.5 volts, blue is 3.8 and white is 4.2. On a quad-coil device the lowest setting is genuinely useful, because 4.2 volts across four rods is a lot of heat for a delicate concentrate.
The kit is generous. Both atomizers come with coils fitted, and there are two coil caps and a dedicated dab tool in the box.
One thing to plan for: replacements are the original Evolve's quartz dual coils, which Yocan confirm fit the Pandon. The Evolve Plus coil is a different part despite the similar name, so check before you order.

Frequently asked questions
What does having two atomizers actually do?
Each atomizer holds a quartz dual coil, so two of them means four quartz rods heating at once. More heated surface in contact with your concentrate produces a bigger, denser draw and clears the chamber faster than a single-coil pen manages. It is the main reason to choose the Pandon over something like the Evolve Plus.
Does it use concentrate faster?
Yes, noticeably. Four rods vaporize more per draw than two, and they pull more from the battery doing it. That is the trade for the bigger hit. If making a small amount of concentrate last is your priority, a single-coil pen run at a low voltage is the better tool. The 1300 mAh cell is sized to keep up with the demand.
Which replacement coils does the Pandon take?
The original Yocan Evolve's quartz dual coil. Yocan state that the Evolve coils also fit the Pandon, and we stock them singly or in fives, along with Yocan's ceramic donut coil for the same two pens if you want a gentler draw. This catches people out, because the Evolve Plus coil is also called a quartz dual coil, but it is a different part and will not fit. Two coils come fitted in the box.
What do the LED colours mean?
They show which voltage you have selected, since there is no screen. Green is 3.5 volts, blue is 3.8 and white is 4.2. On a device with four quartz rods, the lowest setting matters more than it would on a single-coil pen: 4.2 volts across four rods is a lot of heat and will scorch a delicate concentrate quickly.
How is this different from the Evolve Plus XL?
Both give you four quartz rods, but they get there differently. The XL puts four rods into one coil; the Pandon runs two separate dual-coil atomizers. The XL adds an airflow valve and a silicone jar in the base and holds 1400 mAh. The Pandon holds 1300 mAh and includes a second full atomizer. Either gives a much bigger draw than a standard pen.
How quickly can you deliver a Pandon in Vancouver?
Same-day on anything ordered between 8 AM and 10 PM, anywhere across Greater Vancouver, with most orders arriving inside 45 to 60 minutes. Orders after 10 PM go out the next day. We also ship Canada-wide in discreet packaging, and the Pandon can be picked up in person on Commercial Drive.
