Yocan Black is the range Yocan put their better engineering into, and the Pocket is where that shows up as control. Most wax pens give you three voltages. This one gives you an actual temperature, adjustable one degree at a time between 400 and 580°F, held there by a sensor that corrects continuously rather than just cutting power at a threshold.
The heat comes from the Cloud 3 chamber, which is solid ceramic all the way through rather than ceramic wrapped around a wire element. Heat spreads through the whole cup instead of radiating from one hot spot, and because there is no exposed wire, flavour stays cleaner. The chamber measures 12 mm across and 10 mm deep, which is a genuinely large load for a device this size.
Being able to set a real number matters on concentrate. The bottom of the range favours flavour and terpenes; the top end produces dense vapour and clears a chamber quickly. Between those you can find a setting that suits a specific concentrate rather than accepting the nearest preset.
Yocan rate it at up to fifteen sessions per charge and about ninety minutes to refill over USB-C. A pick tool, cotton swabs and a pack of terp balls are included for keeping the chamber clear.

Frequently asked questions
What does one degree temperature control actually get me?
Precision you can repeat. Three fixed voltages make you accept whichever is nearest to what a particular concentrate wants. Setting an exact number between 400 and 580°F means you can find what works, remember it, and go straight back to it. A sensor holds the chamber there during the draw rather than simply cutting power once it is reached.
What temperature should I start at?
Somewhere near the bottom of the range, around 420 to 450°F. Lower temperatures favour flavour and terpenes and produce a lighter draw. As you move up towards 550 and beyond you get denser vapour and clear the chamber faster, but you lose some of the taste. Start low, go up in small steps, and stop where the balance suits you.
What is a solid ceramic chamber and why does it matter?
Most wax coils are a wire element with ceramic packed around it, so heat radiates out from the wire and the chamber has a hot spot. The Cloud 3 is ceramic the whole way through, which spreads heat across the entire cup instead. There is also no exposed wire in contact with your concentrate, which keeps the flavour cleaner.
What are the terp balls for?
They sit in the chamber and move around as you draw, working the concentrate across the hot ceramic rather than letting it pool in one spot. It is the same principle as the Orbit's quartz balls. They also make the chamber easier to clear out afterwards. Twelve come in the box, along with cotton swabs for wiping the cup while it is still warm.
Which replacement chamber do I need, Cloud 3 or Cloud 3.1?
Check which your device shipped with before ordering, because they are sold as separate parts and we stock both. The chamber is the wear item on this vaporizer: replace it when output falls off on a full charge, when the taste stops being clean, or when the ceramic is visibly discoloured and will not clean up. It is rated for a long service life.
