The XS is Dr. Dabber's nano rig, 6.47 inches tall and 9.4 oz, built around a quartz chamber with a temperature sensor inside the heating element. It is the smallest thing in the range that still gives you water filtration and a real glass attachment rather than a mouthpiece on a pen.

Four settings, each with its own colour on the light ring: purple 475, blue 525, cyan 575 and green 625°F. That is a narrower band than the Boost EVO offers and it is deliberate, because those four cover the useful part of the range for concentrate and remove the decision. Heat-up takes 9 to 12 seconds and you get a 20 second hold once it arrives, then it shuts down. Leave it alone for five minutes and the whole unit powers off, which is a shorter fuse than most and worth knowing before you assume it died.

Travel is the design brief throughout. The glassware is spill-proof, so tipping it in a bag does not empty the water into everything else. A filling funnel, a carb cap on a leash and pre-packaged iso snaps all come in the box, which covers loading, capping and cleaning without a separate kit. The vapour path runs straight from quartz into glass with nothing in between.

A charge covers about 30 to 35 heating cycles and refills over USB-C in half an hour to an hour depending on the adapter, with pass-through supported.

Frequently asked questions

What are the four XS colour settings and what temperature is each?

Purple is 475°F, blue is 525, cyan is 575 and green is 625. The colour on the ring is how you tell where you are without a screen. Purple and blue give thinner vapour and hold more of the flavour, cyan and green push more cloud and get through the load faster. Four settings rather than a dial is a deliberate choice on this model.

Why does my XS turn itself off so quickly?

It has a five minute auto shut-off, which is shorter than most e-rigs and catches people out. If you load it, get distracted and come back to a dead unit, that is the timer rather than a fault. The heating cycle itself is a 20 second hold once the chamber reaches temperature. Both are battery-saving measures on a device this size.

Can I fly with the XS?

Yes, in your carry-on. Transport Canada require lithium battery devices in the cabin rather than checked baggage, because one activating in the hold is a fire risk. The XS has one extra step most devices do not: empty the water out of the glass before you travel. Spill-proof means it survives a bag, not a pressure change. Clean the chamber too, and remember that taking anything across an international border is a separate legal question.

What does the XS carb cap and leash actually do?

The carb cap sits over the chamber and restricts airflow, which drops the pressure inside and lets your concentrate vaporize at a lower temperature than it otherwise would. That is where the flavour on a low-temp dab comes from. The leash is a tether that keeps the cap attached to the device, because a loose glass cap on a portable rig is a cap you lose.

Can I replace the XS quartz chamber when it wears out?

Yes, and you should treat it as a consumable rather than a permanent part. The eChamber takes the heat and the residue every session, and a chamber that has been cooked repeatedly stops tasting clean no matter how well you scrub it. Replacements are stocked here, along with the glass attachment, the carb cap with its seal and leash, and the silicone filling funnel.

How fast can you deliver the XS in Vancouver?
