AirVape makes slim, portable dry herb vaporizers, and we carry two of them: the AirVape X and the AirVape XS Go. Both run a hybrid heating system that mixes conduction and convection, and both heat up in about 20 seconds. What AirVape leans on is ceramic heating and a clean, flavourful draw rather than big clouds. If you want something pocketable that leans on taste and control instead of size, this is the kind of vaporizer that fits.

What vaporizers does AirVape make?

The AirVape X is the fuller-featured of the two. It has a fully ceramic vapour path from the chamber through to the mouthpiece, so the vapour never touches plastic, which is a big part of why the taste stays clean. The digital display gives you precise temperature control anywhere from 200 to 428°F, so you set the exact temp instead of picking from presets. In practice that means you can start low for flavour early in a session and step the heat up later for thicker vapour. It vibrates once it reaches your temperature, so you are not left guessing, and it takes dry herb or, with the included wax pad, the occasional bit of concentrate. The body is flat and easy to slip into a pocket.

The AirVape XS Go is the simpler, more affordable option, and it suits people who just want to turn it on and go. Instead of a full range it gives you five preset temperatures (355, 375, 390, 405 and 420°F), which covers most of what you need without any fiddling. It has an isolated air path with dual filters that keep the draw smooth, a magnetic mouthpiece that pops off for quick access to the chamber, and an 800mAh battery that charges in about 45 minutes. At roughly an inch wide and four inches tall it hides in your hand, so it is an easy one to carry every day. The outer shell also swaps out, so you can change the look or replace it if it gets scuffed.

Can you use an AirVape for wax?

Both devices are made for dry herb, and that is where they do their best work. If you want to run a little concentrate now and then, the wax pad drops into the chamber and handles it, though neither is a dedicated dab device. For most people these stay as everyday flower vaporizers, with the wax option there as a bonus rather than the main event.

What AirVape XS Go parts can you replace?

For the XS Go we stock the swappable outer shell, the magnetic mouthpiece, replacement screens (a six-pack for the 2021 model) and the wax pad insert. The screens are the part that clogs or wears first, so a spare pack keeps the airflow clear, and the mouthpiece and shell are easy to lose or scuff over time. Keeping a couple of these on hand means a small part never takes the whole vaporizer out of action.

Which AirVape should you get?

Go with the AirVape X if you want exact temperature control, the full ceramic path and wax support in a slim body. Pick the XS Go if you would rather keep it simple and spend less, with preset temps and a size that is easy to pocket. The X gives you more to dial in, the XS Go gives you less to think about, and either way you get the clean, flavour-first draw AirVape is built around.

We keep AirVape in stock for same-day delivery across Vancouver, usually in 45 to 60 minutes, and ship it Canada-wide in discreet packaging.

Frequently asked questions

How do you use the AirVape X and XS Go?

Grind your dry herb, pack it into the ceramic chamber without cramming it, and put the mouthpiece back on. Turn the device on and set your temperature. On the AirVape X you pick an exact temp on the display, and on the XS Go you cycle through the five presets. Both take about 20 seconds to heat up, and the X buzzes when it is ready. Then draw slowly and steadily. Longer, gentle pulls give better vapour than short hard ones.

What temperature should you vape dry herb at with an AirVape?

There is no single right number, it depends on what you want. Lower temperatures, around 355 to 380°F, give you more flavour and lighter vapour. Higher temperatures, closer to 400 to 428°F, produce thicker vapour and pull more out of the herb. The AirVape X lets you set any temperature from 200 to 428°F, so you can fine-tune it, while the XS Go keeps it simple with five steps: 355, 375, 390, 405 and 420°F. A lot of people start low and work up during a session.

How do you know when the dry herb is finished?

A few signs tell you. The herb in the chamber turns from green to light or dark brown, the vapour gets thinner with each draw, and the flavour starts to fade or taste a little toasted. Once you are getting very little vapour and the taste is gone, the herb is spent and you can empty it out and reload. The used herb still has some value for edibles, so some people keep it rather than toss it.

Do AirVape vaporizers work with wax or concentrates?

Yes, with the wax pad. You put a little concentrate onto the pad and set it in the chamber, then vape it the way you would herb. The AirVape X comes with the wax pad in the box, and for the XS Go it is a separate part we stock. Neither one is a dedicated dab device, so heavy concentrate users will still want a proper rig, but for the occasional bit of wax the pad handles it.

What is the difference between the AirVape X and the AirVape XS Go?

The AirVape X is the fuller-featured one. It has a fully ceramic vapour path, a digital display with exact temperature control from 200 to 428°F, and the wax pad included. The XS Go is smaller and cheaper, with five preset temperatures instead of a full range, an isolated air path with dual filters, and a magnetic mouthpiece. Go with the X if you want precise control, or the XS Go if you want something simple and pocketable for less.

How do you clean an AirVape vaporizer?

Let it cool first, then empty the chamber and brush out the loose bits. Wipe the mouthpiece and screen with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol, and let everything dry before you use it again. Doing this every few sessions keeps the airflow open and the flavour clean. On the XS Go the screens are replaceable, so if one gets too clogged to clean you can swap in a fresh one.

Where can you buy AirVape in Canada?

Right here. We keep AirVape in stock for same-day delivery across Vancouver, usually within 45 to 60 minutes when you order during the day, and we ship Canada-wide in discreet packaging.
