Most dual-use vaporizers run concentrates as an afterthought, on the same heat curve as flower with a pad dropped in the oven. The Arc GT4 splits them properly. Six presets cover herb, from 195 to 225°C, which is 383 to 437°F. Three more sit above them for concentrates, 235 to 255°C or 455 to 491°F. You are not compromising one to accommodate the other, and switching between them is a mode change rather than a workaround.
The chamber and the whole vapour path are coated in 24K gold. Gold moves heat quickly and does not react with what passes over it, so the flavour arrives without the metallic edge that stainless can add at higher temperatures. It matters more on concentrates, where the temperatures are higher and terpenes are the first thing to go.
It uses the same ArcPod system as the rest of the Arc line, 0.3 g of herb per pod or 0.2 to 0.3 g of concentrate in a wax pod, which is what keeps a dual-use device from turning into a cleaning job. A 3500 mAh battery charges over USB-C in about 90 minutes, and it is ready in roughly 35 seconds. A motion sensor starts cooling down after 45 seconds sitting idle and shuts it off two and a half minutes later.
The body is scratch-resistant aluminium with haptic feedback on the controls, and the box includes the Iceborn and waterpipe adapter, so water filtration is available without buying anything else first.

Frequently asked questions
What does the GT4 add over the Arc GT3?
Concentrates, mainly. The GT3 is flower only with three presets. The GT4 runs nine, six for herb and three higher ones for wax, so it handles both without compromising either. It also moves to a 24K gold-coated chamber and vapour path, heats in about 35 seconds and ships with the Iceborn and waterpipe adapter in the box. Both use the same ArcPods and the same battery capacity.
How do you run concentrates on the Arc GT4?
Concentrates go into a wax pod, 0.2 to 0.3 g at a time, rather than straight into the chamber. You then switch to the concentrate bank, which is three presets between 235 and 255°C. Keeping wax in a pod is what stops a dual-use device becoming a cleaning problem, because the residue stays in something you can lift out rather than coating the chamber walls.
Arc GT4 or Storz and Bickel Venty, which is the better buy?
Different devices for different priorities. The Venty is convection with forced air, a far bigger draw and medical-grade build, and it costs considerably more. The GT4 is conduction, handles concentrates as well as flower, and the pod system means far less handling of loose herb. If pure flower performance is the goal, the Venty is stronger. If you want one device that does wax and flower cleanly, the GT4 is the sensible one.
What are ArcPods and are they included?
ArcPods are reusable capsules holding 0.3 g of ground herb, filled ahead of time so the chamber stays clean and there is nothing to pack when you want to use it. Wax pods do the same for concentrates. The GT4 ships with pods in the box. Load them with the Zeus Xtruder mill, which grinds straight into a pod and ejects it once full.
Does the Zeus Iceborn work with the GT4?
Yes, and the adapter for it is already in the box, which is not true of every Arc. The Iceborn V3 runs vapour through a chamber of ice and water before it reaches you, so a hot concentrate setting arrives far smoother. Given the GT4's concentrate presets reach 491°F, that cooling is worth more here than on a flower-only device.
