The Utillian 2 is the cheapest way into a proper wax pen rather than a cartridge battery. It runs a dual quartz coil, so your concentrate sits in quartz instead of touching a wick, and that keeps the flavour cleaner than pens at this price usually manage.
Four voltages cover the range: 3.0V, 3.4V, 3.8V and 4.2V. The button glows green, blue, purple then red so you know which one is active without counting clicks. The lower two are where the flavour is, the top two are for when you want the cloud.
Everything attaches magnetically, mouthpiece included. That makes loading and cleaning quick, but it also means this is not a 510 battery you can screw other atomizers onto. It is its own system.
The 650mAh battery is good for somewhere between 50 and 100 draws depending on how long you pull, and it fills back up over micro USB in about an hour.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use the Utillian 2 with other 510 atomizers or cartridges?
No. The battery, atomizer and mouthpiece all attach magnetically instead of by 510 thread, so parts from other brands will not fit. Utillian did it that way so threads never gum up with concentrate, which is a real problem on cheap wax pens, but it does mean you are buying into the Utillian 2 system rather than a universal battery. Replacement dual quartz coils and a ceramic donut element are both made for it.
What do the four voltage settings actually change?
How hot the coil runs. 3.0V shows green and is the coolest, keeping the most flavour from a small dab. 3.4V is blue, 3.8V is purple, and 4.2V is red for the largest draw. Start on green with a fresh load and work up. A small amount of concentrate on 4.2V will scorch rather than vaporize, which is the most common mistake on a pen like this.
How long does the coil last?
A dual quartz coil is a consumable, not a permanent part, and how long it lasts depends mostly on how hot you run it and how often you wipe it out. Cleaning the quartz with a dry cotton swab while the chamber is still slightly warm does more for coil life than anything else. When the flavour turns harsh and a clean does not bring it back, the coil is finished.
How do you clean it, and what if it stops producing vapour?
Check the coil connection first. On a pen this simple, no vapour usually means residue has bridged the base of the atomizer and the battery is not reading it, which a dry swab on both contacts clears. For the chamber itself, warm it slightly and wipe it out while the residue is soft. Overfilling is the other common cause: too much concentrate floods the airway and the draw dies rather than the device.
Does it charge over USB-C?
No, the Utillian 2 uses micro USB and takes about an hour from empty. It is the one dated thing about the pen, so it is worth knowing before you buy if everything else you own has moved to USB-C. The newer Utillian 5 and 6 both charge over USB-C.
Do you deliver the Utillian 2 in Vancouver?
Yes, same day across Greater Vancouver, usually inside 45 to 60 minutes, on orders placed between 8 AM and 10 PM. We also ship it Canada-wide in plain packaging.
