The Volcano Classic 25th Anniversary Edition is the standard Volcano Classic dressed in a limited green-and-gold finish, an iridescent green body with gold-plated accents, made to mark 25 years of the Volcano. Under the paint it is the same proven machine: convection heat set on an analog dial from 266 to 446°F, a stainless steel chamber, a roughly five-minute heat-up, and the Easy Valve balloon system with bags in the starter kit. It fills a detachable balloon that you inhale from at your own pace, the same way the Classic always has. What is different is that Storz & Bickel only make it in this finish for one year, so it is as much a collector's piece as a daily driver. What is different about the 25th Anniversary Edition?
It is the standard Volcano Classic in a limited green-and-gold finish, an iridescent green body with gold-plated accents, made to mark 25 years of the Volcano. The performance is identical to the Classic; only the finish and the limited run are different.
Is it the same as the regular Volcano Classic?
Yes. It uses the same convection heating, analog dial, stainless steel chamber, Easy Valve balloon system, and roughly five-minute heat-up. You use it exactly the same way. The difference is the commemorative finish and that it is only made for a limited time.
Is the 25th Anniversary Edition a collector's item?
Storz & Bickel only produce it in this finish for about one year, so it is a limited edition that many owners keep as a collector's piece. It is still a full working Volcano Classic that you can use every day.
How do you use it?
The same as any Volcano Classic: grind your herb, fill the Easy Valve chamber, set the dial, let it heat, then fill the balloon and inhale at your own pace.
Does the anniversary edition perform any differently?
No. It is the standard Volcano Classic underneath: the same convection heating, the same 266 to 446°F range, the same ceramic coated filling chamber and the same Easy Valve balloon system. What you are paying for is the limited green and gold finish, which S&B produced for one year only. Every accessory and spare that fits a Classic fits this one.
Can I still get parts and balloons for it?
Yes, and that is the practical advantage of it being a standard Classic underneath. Easy Valve balloon replacement sets, wear and tear sets, filling chambers and screens are all the regular Volcano parts, none of them anniversary-specific. Nothing about the limited finish makes it harder to maintain years from now.
