The carb cap closes the chamber and directs air over the load, which is what lets the Proxy pull vapour at a lower temperature. The tether ties it to the device so it does not end up under a couch cushion. Replace the pair when the cap no longer seats cleanly or the tether perishes. Fits the Puffco Proxy.
