On the Nutron you press the button five times to turn it on, click through the three voltage settings to match your oil, and hold the button while you inhale. The Pitron keeps it simple for quick sessions, and the Tautron uses a magnetic adapter so the cart snaps in and out instead of threading on. Start on the lower voltage with a new cart and work up if you want warmer, bigger draws.

They are all 510-thread batteries for concentrate carts, and the difference is how much control and convenience you want. The Nutron is a 320mAh battery with three voltage settings and single-button operation, so you can dial the heat to the oil. The Pitron is the stripped-back option, built for quick, no-fuss use. The Tautron adds a magnetic adapter set, so your cartridge clicks in and out with a magnet instead of threading on each time. All three take standard 510 cartridges.

Grind your dry herb and load it into the chamber, then charge the 2300mAh battery over USB-C if it needs it. Set your temperature, up to a max of 240°C, and it gets there in under 35 seconds, so there is not much waiting around. Then draw slowly. It comes with spare screens and cleaning tools in the box, which is handy since the Milatron is built as a budget dry herb option rather than a high-end one.

Both are made for concentrates. The Gammatron has a Kanthal heating element and a built-in wax container, plus a zirconia tool in the mouthpiece, so you can carry a bit of wax without extra gear, and its PVD coating helps it shrug off scratches. The Omegatron takes a simpler, button-free approach with a glass core heating chamber for a clean-tasting draw. With either one you load a small amount of wax onto the heating element, let it warm, and draw.

The Pitron, Tautron and Nutron use the standard 510 thread, so they fit most concentrate and oil cartridges. The Tautron can also use its magnetic adapter for a quicker swap. They are made for oil carts rather than dry herb or wax, so for those you would want the Milatron or one of the wax pens instead.

For the wax pens, let the device cool, then wipe the heating chamber and mouthpiece with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol to clear leftover residue, which keeps the flavour clean. For the Milatron, empty the chamber, brush it out and swap in one of the spare screens if the old one is clogged. The 510 batteries just need the contact wiped now and then so the cartridge keeps a solid connection.
