How do you use the G Pen Dash?
Grind your dry herb and pack it into the chamber, not too tightly, then click the magnetic mouthpiece back on. Hold the button to power it on, and press it to cycle through the three preset temperatures. Give it a few seconds to heat, then draw slowly. Because the Dash heats by conduction, packing the chamber a bit more firmly helps the vapour, and the lower presets give more flavour while the top one gives thicker draws.
What temperatures does the G Pen Dash use?
The Dash runs three preset temperatures rather than a full range: 375°F (190°C), 401°F (205°C) and 428°F (220°C). You step through them with the button, and an indicator shows which one you are on. Start on the lowest for the most flavour and move up if you want bigger, warmer draws. If you want to set an exact temperature instead of presets, the Dash+ is the version that does that.
How do you clean the G Pen Dash?
Let it cool, then pull off the magnetic mouthpiece, which comes apart for cleaning, and empty the chamber. Brush out the loose herb, and wipe the mouthpiece and chamber with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. Doing this every few sessions keeps the airflow clear and the taste clean. The magnetic mouthpiece makes it quick to get in there.
How do you charge the G Pen Dash?
The Dash has a 950mAh battery that recharges over USB. Plug it in when the draws weaken, and give it time to top up before a session. A full charge is good for a number of sessions for most people, depending on the temperature you run and how long you draw.
Does the G Pen Dash work with concentrates?
