The battery goes from 1100 to 1200 mAh, and the small monochrome OLED becomes a colour LCD showing temperature and battery level, which is easier to read at a glance. The body was redrawn with straighter lines and less ornament.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHeating is still conduction into a ceramic chamber, so the herb sits against the hot surface rather than having hot air pulled through it. Give the load a stir partway through a session and it toasts far more evenly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe mouthpiece is magnetic and pulls straight off for loading and cleaning. One thing to know before you buy spares: the Vane 2 mouthpiece is a different part from the original Vane's, so a replacement bought for the older model will not fit.
